IGS Early Learning Centre is proudly part of International Grammar School and caters for children aged 3 to 5 years. Our Centre is licensed by the Department of Education to operate from 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, for 48 weeks of the year.
We have a long, rich history of providing high-quality early education and care to children whose families seek a bilingual education for their child. We provide a dynamic program encouraging children to explore and discover their world. Central to this is the learning of languages and music, the unique IGS offering. Our program is underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework, the national curriculum of early education and care services.
We are rated as meeting all seven quality areas of the National Quality Standard pertaining to the education and care of children in early education settings.
Our professional staff work in partnership with families to develop individualised programs to enhance every child’s participation and learning in our inclusive and multilingual early education environment.
In addition to our professional team of Teachers and Educators, children and families have access to a wide range of resources, facilities and staff including native speaking Language Educators, an Early Learning Music Specialist Teacher, IGS Counsellors, School Nurse and Bibliotheque (school library).
