COVID Safety

COVID minimisation practices for Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), will be consistent with those during School hours. The measures put in place have been outlined in Principal Shauna Colnan’s welcome message to parents.

Many of our IGS COVID-safe health and safety measures can also be found on the School’s website.

Specifically, for OSHC, parents are reminded not to enter the School grounds to pick-up their child. There will be a dedicated Educator at the Kelly St entrance who will help with this process. Please also adhere to physical distancing recommendations when waiting out the front of the School.

A summary of good hygiene and cleaning practices that will be followed in OSHC include: – washing hands thoroughly with soap for 20 seconds (especially before and after eating) – using hand sanitisers around the campus – coughing or sneezing into our elbows – not sharing food or drinks – Educators using gloves and wearing a mask when preparing food – Educators maintaining physical distance from each other (1.5m).
